Market

There are a few serious Wyoming collectors. If there were more than a few, the scarcity of Wyoming material would drive prices into the stratosphere. As the market now stands, a fairly high percentage of Wyoming cover find a home, Prices remain reasonable because of limited interest. Territorial material is most sought, but all periods are in demand.

Among the 50 states, the District of Columbia, R.P.O.'s and Streetcars, Wyoming rates as the 11th state in terms of percentage of covers sold at 65.80%. It ranks 48th in terms of the value of covers sold as percentage of all town cancels sold at 0.60%. The overall rank is 35th. This is a ten year running average. The most recent trends are about the same.
